This 1992 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1 is a modified example that was sold new in Italy, where it remained until being moved to Costa Rica circa 2000. A number of modifications were added while the car was with the first owner in Costa Rica, and it was acquired by the seller in non-running condition in 2007. A turbocharged 2.0L inline-four from a 1994 Integrale Evo 2 has since been installed and was rebuilt with new pistons, a larger turbo, a Megasquirt 3.0 ECU, and more. A repaint in the current blue has also been performed, and aftermarket seats were added along with new upholstery. Receipts and records from the work are included in the sale, and the car is now being offered out of San Jose, Costa Rica with a clean title in the seller’s name. This example was originally finished in a dark grey and was repainted twice while in Costa Rica, once in white while with the previous owner and more recently in blue while with the seller. Some custom bodywork is also present, including a center-exit exhaust as shown in photos. 16″ MAK wheels have been installed and wear 205/45 Sunny SN3800 tires up front and 205/45 Yokohama A520 tires out back. A brief driving video can be viewed above. The interior features a pair of aftermarket bucket seats that are upholstered in tan leather. The air conditioning system is not currently installed and the front passenger window does not roll up or down. A modern radio with a removable faceplate has been added to the interior along with an aftermarket boost gauge and a manual boost controller. Approximately 78k kilometers (~48k miles) are shown on the odometer. The factory turbocharged 2.0L inline-four was removed while with the previous owner, and a replacement engine from a 1994 Integrale Evo 2 was installed in its place. A rebuild was carried out during the seller’s ownership, including new pistons, valves, an upgraded Garrett turbocharger, and a Megasquirt 3.0 ECU. A video of the engine at idle can be viewed above. Power runs to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, and new drilled brake rotors have been installed. A number undercarriage photos showing the driveline, suspension, and exhaust have been provided by the seller. Period owner’s manuals and brochures are included in the sale along with registration records and a receipt from the engine purchase in 2003. Additional records from the cosmetic and mechanical work are included in the sale as shown below. Photos from the engine rebuild process have been provided by the seller and can be viewed in the gallery. Another exterior driving video and idle video can be seen below.
