This is one of three Moretti cars being offered here as BaT Exclusives by a Swiss Moretti collector who currently owns an amazing 15 Moretti cars.
This 1973 Moretti Fiat 128 Spider has been owned by the seller for four years. It was restored in the 1980s by the second owner and is a front-drive car with a 4-speed manual transmission. Moretti has no records of exactly how many were made, but it is believed to be less than three dozen. This one is in very clean condition and is available in Villeneuve, Switzerland for $17,000 USD.

As any owner of a slew of Morettis must, the seller has a good sense of humor about the car and says it basically drives like a standard Fiat 128 but with a lower seating position.

The interior is in very clean shape and the seller says that everything is functioning properly. It shows 21,000 kilometers on the odometer, which he suspects is real original mileage.

The transverse 4-cylinder sits way out in front of the shock towers and the spare wheel is housed in the engine bay like we have seen on Citroens and early Subarus.
