This 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint spent much of its life in California and was kept by its previous owner for 40 years prior to its 2015 purchase on BaT by the current owner. This early 101-series example received refurbishment at Kevin Kay Restorations in 2011 and is finished in black Imron over a refreshed grey and black interior. Power is supplied by a replacement 1,300cc inline-four paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and 4.55:1 rear axle. Modifications include Koni shocks, larger sway bars, 1750 camshafts, and electronic ignition. The car has been driven approximately 400 miles over the past three years, and the brakes were serviced by Michael Keith at Speciality Car Service earlier this year along with several other mechanical items. This Giulietta is offered on consignment by the selling dealer with over 40 years of service records and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name. The black finish was reapplied with Dupont Imron sometime in the 1980s. The finish is shown up close in the gallery below along with several imperfections accumulated over the years. A small area of rust below the trunk and a dent on the passenger side were described in the previous listing. The car has reportedly resided in a climate-controlled storage unit since it was purchased on BaT. Additional photos taken in 2015 can be viewed here via Flickr. Factory wheels come fitted with stainless covers and Vredestein tires. The 4-wheel drum brake system was serviced by Michael Keith at Speciality Car Solutions a few months ago. Suspension upgrades performed under previous ownership include a full set of Koni shocks, larger anti-roll bars, and triangulated axle gussets/stiffeners in the rear. Originally trimmed in gray, the interior has been refreshed over the years and now features black leather seats as well as a replacement headliner and carpet. Just under 47k miles are shown on the odometer, approximately 400 of which were added over the past three years. The tachometer is said to stick occasionally, though a tap on lens reportedly gets the needle moving. The 1,300cc inline-four is a replacement unit that was installed in the 1980s and utilizes a set of 1750 camshafts and an electronic ignition. A refreshed 5-speed gearbox transmits power to the 4.55:1 rear axle. Further engine and transmission details are described in the 2015 BaT listing. Records and receipts from the previous longtime owner accompany the car.
