This 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello is finished in Argento Nurburgring over a black leather interior and shows just under 29k miles. Power is from a 5.5-liter quad-cam V12, which is paired with a rear-mounted 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes powered sport seats and air conditioning, and an aftermarket Sony radio has been added. Records from 2017 show service for new belts, a tensioner bearing, fuel pump, clutch, brake master cylinder, air conditioning compressor, and more. This 550 Maranello was acquired by the selling dealer two years ago and is now being offered with recent service records, factory literature, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clear California title. The 550 Maranello features a tubular steel space frame with aluminum body panels, which are finished in Argento Nurburgring on this example. The included Carfax report shows no accident history or other reported damage. Stock 18″ 5-spoke wheels wear Continental tires that were reportedly mounted last year. The brake master cylinder was replaced in 2017. The cabin features powered sport seats trimmed in black leather, along with matching door panels, carpets, and dashboard. Equipment includes a gated shifter and an aftermarket Sony radio that is connected to a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer. The air conditioning compressor was replaced in 2017 and the system was recharged at that time as well. Instrumentation includes a 10k-rpm Jaeger tachometer and 220-mph speedometer, as well as gauges for oil pressure and water temperature. The 6-digit odometer shows 29k miles, about 750 of which were added by the selling dealer. The airbag light is illuminated. The 5.5-liter V12 was rated at 478 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 419 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm by the factory when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and factory limited-slip differential. Service in 2017 included a new timing belt, timing belt tensioner bearing, power steering belt, alternator belt, camshaft and drive belts, left camshaft belt cover, fuel pump, and clutch, as well as a fuel system cleaning and new transmission fluid. Recent service records, including an August 2018 invoice from Steve Maxwell Exotic Car Service of San Diego for new belts, accompany the sale, as do two sets of keys, factory literature, and a tool kit. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists three owners with California registration since new. The car reportedly last passed a California emissions test in January 2017. The videos above and below have been provided by the seller.
