This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV is finished in Giallo Ocra over a black interior and was acquired by the seller in January 2016, following a refurbishment by Avant-Garde of Portland, Oregon. Work is said to have included a repaint, new interior upholstery, and refreshment of the brake and fuel systems. The twin-cam inline-four was reportedly rebuilt with Motronic 2.0L pistons and cylinders, Weber side-draft carburetors, and performance cams. Additional modifications include Bilstein sport shocks, Centerline springs, and 15” Classic Alfa wheels. Fewer than 1,000 miles have been added under current ownership, and a new fuel pump and hazard light switch were recently installed. This GTV is now being offered for sale with a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The body was repainted Giallo Ocra during the refurbishment, and a replacement grille and emblems were also installed. Polished bumpers retain factory overriders, and close-up photos of the badging and trim are provided in the gallery.
Classic Alfa 15” GTA-style wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires. The brake system is equipped with larger vented rotors, rebuilt calipers, and newer lines.
Pleated bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl. The dash pad has been covered in Alcantara, and replacement wood trim has been fitted. The radio has been deleted, though a power antenna remains in place.
A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel is complemented with a Nardi wood shift knob. Jaeger gauges include a 140-mph speedometer that contains a 5-digit odometer showing just over 44k miles, less than 1,000 of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The twin-cam inline-four was reportedly rebuilt with Motronic 2.0L pistons and cylinders, performance camshafts, and a polished crankshaft, as well as new valves, springs, and followers. Weber side-draft carburetors were installed in lieu of the factory SPICA fuel injection system, and ceramic-coated performance headers and a Centerline Stinger exhaust have been added. A new fuel pump and hazard light switch were installed by the seller.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additional lift photos of the underside, wheel wells, and brakes are viewable in the gallery, and a start-up video can be seen below.
