This 1963 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider has been in the seller’s family for almost forty years and was originally purchased by a friend of his father. The car seems to have been well cared for, and was painted in 2000. These aren’t quite as sporty as the smaller four-cylinder Alfas, but the big six has a stately charm of its’ own. Find it here on eBay in San Clemente, California.
The 2600 Spider carries handsome coachwork by Touring. This example shines in brilliant black paint. All of the brightwork seems to be in excellent condition, with no noticeable blemishes.
Inside, the red leather is a perfect complement to the black exterior finish. The dashboard is interesting, with the radio and glovebox locations reversed from most cars.
The Alfa twin-cam six, with triple sidedraft carburetors was rebuilt in 2005 and the seller has a good list of vendors and associated documentation for mechanical work.
This Alfa is a clean example in good colors coming from what seems like a good owner. Those are three big wins in the Alfa world, so we suspect this car will sell nicely to a lucky new owner.
