This 1964 Fiat Ghia 1500 GT is listed as an ongoing project, as the seller indicates they’ve been sourcing parts for the car, after spending considerable time sitting while the car was gradually parted out. This may end up as a parts car for the next owner as well, but given the low production numbers, it might be worth saving. Find this one here on eBay in Lincoln Park, Michigan with a Buy-It-Now of $18k.
The body has obvious needs, as the bottom of the rockers and panels looks pretty well deteriorated, and new metal looks like it’s in this one’s future. The seller indicates they have collected about 90% of the parts, but the other 10% may yet be a considerable amount of trim and details that will take some detective work to source.
The seller doesn’t include any pictures of the interior, but from what can be seen, it appears that a good portion of the dash as well as the seats appear to be missing. There appears to be a clean steering wheel ready for installation, and a set of gauges that are sorted out for install.
The seller indicates the engine is a 1500 OSCA, and includes an extra block in the sale as well. The engine shown appears to be largely complete, although the seller leaves out the details about what it might need to be completed. Fortunately, this might be the easiest part of the restoration.
We’ve seen these cars in varying states in the past, and many of them usually came with a list of needs in tow. Although this one is no different, we hope it finds a new owner who loves these cars as much as we do. Given the brochure pictures above, it’s hard not to want to make it look like that again.
