This 1976 Lancia Beta Coupe 2000 was originally sold new in Italy before making its way across to Northern Europe. It features a carb-fed Lampredi twin cam four, and pushes around 120 horses through a 5-speed gearbox on their way to the front wheels. The car has had some cosmetic restoration done, including a respray in what’s likely its original bright silver, and is easily one of the sharpest looking examples we’ve seen this year–it certainly doesn’t hurt that the photographer really knew its best angles. Find it here on Stelvio Automobili in Copenhagen, Denmark for $14,689 USD. The ad notes a full glass-out respray, with any needed repairs taking place beforehand. Though simple and easily overlooked on less well-presented examples, these are subtly beautiful cars in what was one a long-standing Lancia tradition. This one’s been photographed with a good eye for its best angles, and despite a slight fitment issue with the driver’s door, overall the car looks to be in very nice shape. The interior is said to remain original, and features a funky but seriously cool L pattern on nicely contrasting deep blue upholstery. Some slight discoloration is about the only sign of age we can spot–the dashboard appears to be free of cracks, and all the switchgear looks to be intact. Unfortunately there are no mileage figures shared in the ad. A Lampredi four routes 117 HP to the front wheels via a 5-speed transaxle. It looks all stock underneath the forward-tilting hood, down to the correct yellow timing belt cover and rather uninspiring looking air filter. Note the stamped strut/body support bars. Rusty basketcases and tired beaters are among the most commonly spotted Craigslist exotica, but nine times out of ten those cars are many thousands of dollars and hours away from presenting as well as this one.
