This 1972 Fiat 130 Coupé was purchased by the seller in Italy and moved to his home in Lisbon four months ago. Powered by a 3.2-liter DOHC V6 paired to a Borg Warner 3-speed automatic transmission and limited-slip differential, this example was driven 20k kilometers (12,450 miles) by its previous owners and is reported to have been routinely maintained during that time. This type BC chassis car is said to be unmodified and is finished in blue over an orange velour interior. The car was serviced in January by the PO, and is sold with its original owner’s manual and a clean Italian title in the seller’s name. The 130 is one of two large coupes Paolo Martin designed while at Pininfarina in the 1970s, and this car is one of 1,746 produced for the model year. The paint appears glossy in photos and is said to have been recently detailed. The car came from Turin with four-wheel adjustable independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. The stock 14″ magnesium Cromodora wheels wear Roadstone tires that show good tread left. Interior options were luxurious for the era and included power windows, ZF power steering, wood trims, courtesy lights, adjustable steering, dual horns, automatic antenna, and a handle that allows the driver to open the passenger door. The orange upholstery has faded slightly to a more brown hue, and interior knobs and handles show signs of use. The gauges, lights, and accessories are said the function as they should, though one knob is missing from one of the dashboard controls. The 3.2-liter 130 type B V6 sends power to the rear wheels through a Borg Warner 3-speed automatic and a limited-slip differential. The seller reports that the car was serviced by the previous owner just prior to purchase and that the engine runs strong. The work included the following: Took out and serviced/rebuilt the automatic gearbox, done by the workshop Pistillo of Voghera – € 1,700 Renewal of the timing belt and changing of engine oil, filters, and radiator fluids – € 1,200 Rebuild of the starter motor – € 350 Rebuild of the brake master cylinder and installment of new brake pads – € 450 Four new tires installed – € 600 New battery – € 100 The total cost for the above maintenance – € 4,400 + VAT The photo above shows the underbody and displays the independent rear suspension. The original owner’s manual comes with the car. The seller has received the invoice for the last service performed by the previous owner, though no prior records exist.
