This 1972 Alfa Romeo GT Junior was recently imported from Italy by the selling dealer and is powered by a 1300cc twin cam inline-four paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This running and driving example is unrestored, though it shows some rust issues as detailed below. The seller reports no mechanical issues apart from an oil leak and has performed an inspection and cleaned the carburetors. This GT Junior is now offered with a clean South Carolina title. The car appears to retain most of its trim, though the bumpers show evidence of having been bumped and straightened in the past. The steel wheels are finished in silver paint with correct center caps, and the lighting is intact. Several rust bubbles are pictured in the gallery below along with an area of cracking filler on one door. The dash top is cracked around the defroster vents, and an older cassette deck is fitted to the passenger-side of the dash fascia. All of the gauges work as they should apart from the odometer, which has stopped working since the car came into the seller’s inventory. It shows 51k kilometers (~31k miles), though true mileage is unknown. The seller has driven the car an indicated 126 kilometers during their time with it. The 1300cc inline-four appears to be from a 1967 Alfa Romeo GT Junior according to the seller and breathes through a pair of twin-throat carburetors. The selling dealer performed a general inspection, tested the battery, and cleaned the carburetors. The engine is currently leaking some oil. A video of the engine running is provided above. Several photos of the underside are provided. The selling dealer reports heavy undercoating is present on the underside and the rear suspension limit straps need to be replaced. The subframes, brakes and other bolt-on parts appear to have been recently painted.
