This 2005 Maserati GranSport was first shipped to New Jersey and imported to Ontario, where it remained with four owners before it was acquired by the selling dealer five months ago. The GranSport model featured more aggressive bodywork along with carbon fiber interior trim, Skyhook active suspension, and changes to the 4.2L dry-sump V8 to produce a claimed 395 horsepower. This example is finished in yellow over a black and grey interior with yellow accent piping, and the engine is backed by a 6-speed paddle-shifted transmission. The car is offered with service records from new to 2015, two history reports, and clean Ontario registration. GranSport bodywork includes more aggressive bumpers and side skirts than those used on other coupes as well as a rear lip spoiler and updated underbody panels. This example is finished in Giallo Granturismo, and the paintwork is shown up close in the gallery below. The history reports show unspecified damage in 2009, and the selling dealer notes evidence of repainting on multiple panels. Side and rear windows have been tinted, and repairs to the windshield wipers and other exterior trim are detailed in the included service records. Black 19″ Trofeo wheels show scuffs present and are mounted with a set of Ironman iMove tires. The interior features sport seats upholstered in black leather with grey technical fabric panels and yellow piping. The carbon fiber center console was narrowed and elastic door pockets used in the GranSport to accommodate more aggressive seat bolstering. The passenger-side window switch is noted to be sticky. Carbon fiber trim is visible on the dash, steering wheel, door panels, and sills. The selling dealer states that the stereo is functional but believes a new amplifier is needed due to the low level of sound produced by the speakers. Approximately 102k kilometers (~63k miles) are shown on the odometer. The 4.2L dry-sump V8 originally produced 395 horsepower in GranSport models through changes to the intake manifolds and valve seats as well as use of a more aggressive exhaust system. Power is sent rearward through a 6-speed Cambiocorsa paddle-shifted transmission. Two undercarriage photos are provided to show the condition of the chassis and related components. A new clutch was installed at roughly 51k kilometers and a $3,700 transmission repair was conducted at about 65k kilometers as shown on the included records, which date to a pre-purchase inspection in 2005. Both Carfax and Carproof reports have been provided and show non-collision incidents of damage in 2009 and 2015, with the most recent involving $4,700 in wiring and insulation repairs due to mouse damage according to the records below.
