This 1970 Fiat 500 has been built into a tribute to the Giannini 500TV of the 1960s. Finished in blue over a white interior, the car has been driven about 375 kilometers since the seller acquired it on BaT in March 2016. Power comes from an air-cooled twin built with Giannini parts, including a valve cover and oil pan. The car is also equipped with a 4-speed manual transaxle, Giannini gauges and emblems, a Dellorto carburetor, and a fixed fiberglass engine cover. This Fiat 500 is now being offered with a clear Washington State title in the seller’s name. The car wears a dark blue repaint over wide Giannini wheels equipped with 12″ Federal 69S 145/70 tires. Period-correct Giannini emblems and distinctive mustache bar are present. The seller describes spidering on the fiberglass engine cover mounted at the rear. The above video provides an exterior walk-around. The white interior features high-backed reclining front buckets with blue piping, blue carpets, and Sabelt harnesses. A custom upholstered center console divides the footwell, and a fire extinguisher is equipped under the passenger-side dash. Giannini gauges include a tachometer, speedometer, and a 5-digit mechanical odometer that indicates just over 660 kilometers (~400 miles), about 375 of which have been added by the seller. A 3-spoke steering wheel has been installed and the seller notes that there is an antenna and a set of rear speakers, but no radio is present. Power comes from an air-cooled twin mated to a 4-speed synchro manual gearbox. The engine was fitted with a Giannini engine cover and oil pan, and it features a 2-barrel Dellorto carburetor, upgraded cam, and modified main shaft. An open engine cover provides clearance for an oil cooler mounted at the right side of the engine bay, and the seller replaced the battery and double coil for the electronic ignition.
